Imam who vandalized his own mosque with anti-Islam graffiti fined and given 30 days to leave France
The former imam of a mosque in Pau, a Moroccan national, who was arrested for vandalizing his own mosque in late October, has been fined 1,000 Euros ($1,350) and told to be out of France within 30 days.
La Republique (h/t Susan K): The prefecture has signed an order “refusing to renew his residence permit.” A decision that came two days before the Khalil was sentenced on January for vandalizing of the mosque. On December 10, the Mosque association in Pau terminated his contract of employment as a result of his actions”.
